Job summary

CRH via Oldcastle is seeking an inside sales/counter sales role to handle product inquiries, take orders, and coordinate deliveries with dispatch and vendors in a fast-paced office. The position may involve supporting outside sales as needed.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, proficiency with Word/Excel/Outlook, and prior sales experience. English/Spanish bilingual ability is preferred, with forklift experience a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Prior sales experience.
• Experience with multi-line phone system preferred.
• Knowledge of concrete masonry is a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Some forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive customer phone calls; provide support to customers and contractors via phone and in person.
• Refer to product catalogs and specification guides to determine related product uses and applications.
• Work closely with outside sales representatives regarding promotions and initiatives requiring phone contact and follow-up.
• Assist customers with design ideas/problems; provide feedback to management.
• Coordinate delivery schedules with dispatch and keep customers informed of schedules.
• Retrieve information for the credit department when needed.
