Job summary

PSG is seeking an Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative to join the Onsite team in San Jose, CA. You will manage orders from inbound inquiries to shipment, process quotes, and support cross-functional teammates using CRM and ERP systems.

The role emphasizes accurate communication, attention to detail, and timely updates to customers. Qualifying candidates typically hold a science-related bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with proficiency in Salesforce, MS Excel, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science or a related field preferred; equivalent industry experience considered.
• Proficient computer skills and working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
• Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to build cross-functional relationships.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage order lifecycle from inbound inquiry to shipment.
• Convert inbound inquiries to leads and orders via effective communication and pricing requests.
• Use CRM/ERP systems to process orders, track shipments, and provide status updates.
• Coordinate with engineering to create customer part Numbers and establish pricing using price lists.
• Provide support to Outside Sales and Management with regular reports on orders, quotes, and shipments.
• Ensure timely issue resolution and escalate when needed to meet commitments.
• Maintain compliance with PSG policies and export documentation as required.
