Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Customer Success Manager in Inside Sales to promote service products such as warranty extensions, maintenance contracts and qualifications, while building strong customer relationships and identifying market opportunities.

You will collaborate with Service Contract Specialists and leaders, travel within the North West region as needed, and work toward meeting annual and quarterly financial goals through proactive lead development and strategic outreach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, Finance or equivalent work experience preferred.
• 3-5 yrs of sales experience with proven ability to qualify opportunities and close deals.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to navigate different hierarchical levels.
• High level of organizational skills and self-discipline to optimize time management.
• Willingness to travel to customer locations up to 25%, including overnight travel.
• Knowledge in instrumental analytics/life sciences is a plus.
• Strong IT skills including MS Office, SAP ERP, and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Inside Sales Activities: Focus on selling service products such as warranty extensions, maintenance and service contracts, and qualifications.
• Provide intensive Customer Support in collaboration with Service Contract Specialists and Service leaders; travel up to 25%.
• Manage Contract Renewals with tracking deadlines and proposals to grow existing business.
• Acquire and consult with existing and new customers for service product sales.
• Prepare sales reports, statistics, and forecast summaries.
