Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is recruiting an Area Sales Manager to drive forecasts, targets, and revenue across designated life sciences verticals. You will collaborate with product specialists, finance, marketing and service teams to expand market share in the region.

The role requires a background in life sciences and 6–10 years of sales experience, with strong communication, presentation, and English skills. Travel within the region is expected as needed, with a focus on capital equipment sales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or above in Life Science / Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Instrumentation technology or any Science related fields.
• Minimum 6-10 years of relevant sales experience in Pharma/BioPharma/Lifesciences.
• Experience selling high-value capital equipment is desirable.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to build relationships.
• Willingness to travel within the region if required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute sales forecasts and targets for the assigned territory to achieve booking and revenue targets.
• Ensure adherence to the Annual AOP on a quarterly basis and submit required reports.
• Develop and implement solution-selling strategies to drive new business opportunities.
• Expand and grow business across key market verticals including Life Sciences, Academia, Clinical, Industrial, CTLs, and Food.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
• Drive funnel growth for sustainable expansion and maintain CRM data accuracy.
