Job summary

Responsibilities

• Enter customer orders and quotes into our order processing system.
• Answer phone calls and emails to assist customers.
• Provide excellent customer service including assessing customer needs, providing recommendations/solutions, and updating customers on order status.
• Track open sales orders and purchase orders.
• Review inventory availability and communicate with purchasing.
• Order non-stock or short items from approved vendors.
• Identify revenue opportunities in collaboration with outside sales representatives.
• Always expand product knowledge to better assist customers.
