Roberts Oxygen, a trusted name in industrial, medical, and specialty gases and equipment, is looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join our Baltimore, MD team. You will greet walk-in customers, answer phones, and process sales while building lasting relationships with clients.

The ideal candidate has 2 years of inside sales or welding experience, strong customer service skills, basic math, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. CDL preferred or obtainable.

• Proven customer service experience
• Passion for selling and knowledge of welding products/hardgoods
• Basic computer skills including data entry and internet searching

Responsabilités

• Greet walk-in customers and assist them professionally
• Answer phones promptly and provide courteous service
• Process customer sales transactions and build long-term relationships
• Support sales staff with timely information and follow-ups
• Coordinate with Store Manager on inventory and showroom displays
• Assist with loading cylinders and safe product handling
• Maintain showroom cleanliness and safety procedures
• Meet company policies and safety guidelines

Requirements

What makes you stand out?

You have proven skills in providing excellent and effective customer service assisting both external and internal customers. Your passion is selling and you have general knowledge of welding products and hardgoods.

Skills and experience requirements:

• 2 years of insides sales and customer service, or welding experience
• Immediately and politely greet and assists walk-in visitors and customers, and promptly answers phones in a professional and courteous manner
• Proven customer service experience provided through thoughtful and respectful interaction with customers regarding services, products, and invoices
• Efficiently processes customer sales transactions while building trust and long-term relationships with customers to ensure future sales growth and company profitability
• Supports Sales staff/management by providing timely and correct customer information, follow up scheduling, and fill-in branch coverage
• Timely communicates and coordinates with Store Manager to ensure appropriate product levels are maintained. Receives and updates inventory, stocks shelves, counters, tables, and maintains showroom displays. Maintains show room and location cleanliness
• Safely maneuvers and loads cylinders or other products on trailers and customer transportation
• Committed to high performance through outstanding attendance and overall dependable work habits, Adheres to all company policies and guidelines as well as safety procedures
• Basic computer skills including internet searching, data entry, and ability to learn new programs
• Demonstrate basic mathematical aptitude and function
• Ability to lift 75lbs
• High school education or equivalent - Bachelor's degree is a plus
• Excellent driving record; Class A or B CDL preferred or ability to obtain
• If selected, ability to pass pre-employment screenings
