Job summary

Carriage Services seeks a Family Service Counselor to handle inside sales with leads from walk-ins and inbound calls. You will assist families with funeral selections, attend services, and focus on delivering empathetic, high-quality service.

Compensation includes commission/bonus with potential for six-figure earnings. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent; valid driver’s license and possible insurance license. Full-time, on-site at Palms Memorial Park.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or college degree preferred.
• Proven inside sales success strongly preferred.
• May require insurance license as required by law;
• Valid driver’s license in good standing and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Establishes a professional relationship with client families to ensure needs are met.
• Represents the company in a caring, professional manner.
• Provides tours and guides families visiting cemetery locations.
• Attends services and visitations to develop relationships and referrals.
• Performs paperwork, interment verification, and compliance with regulations.

Education
