Swift Supply, Inc. in Orange Beach, AL, is seeking an Inside Sales Coordinator to support the sales team and customers.

This hourly role focuses on generating sales orders, coordinating quotes, and ensuring flawless service by being just a phone call away to those customers they support. The ideal candidate will excel at multi-tasking, maintain accurate files, and communicate clearly with customers and the Outside Sales staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred; 1 year related experience or training.
• Must pass a background check and Non-DOT drug test.
• Excellent communication and multitasking abilities.
• English proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Accept orders from outside sales staff or customers, in person or by phone.
• Input quotes, estimates, and orders into the company computer system.
• Schedule the delivery of customer orders when needed.
• Verify merchandise on-hand quantities with required ship dates, notifying inventory needs.
• Maintain customer files, including quotes, estimates, invoices, take-down lists, deliveries, and special orders.
• Serve as a primary contact between the customer and Outside Salesperson, keeping both advised on inventory status and pricing.
• Coordinate with the Vendor to quote and order special orders; input into the system.
• Coordinate with the Receiving Associate for shipment of received special order merchandise.
• Answer telephone inquiries pleasantly and promptly.
• Assist in covering the Inside Sales counter and maintaining a clean store environment.
• Attend staff and safety meetings and comply with attendance and safety policies.
