Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. in Miami, FL is seeking an Inside Sales professional to handle counter and phone orders, build customer relationships, and process sales through the company system. The role focuses on product knowledge across drywall, insulation, tools, and related building materials.

You will collaborate with Outside Sales Reps and Sales Managers to shape sales strategies, overcome objections, and provide strong service to customers in a dynamic office environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 4 year degree preferred.
• Ability to self-manage, take initiative and be comfortable meeting the public.
• Must be a team player with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Take orders at the sales counter and over the phone.
• Build relationships with customers.
• Enter orders in company computer system.
• Complete sales orders and tender cash sales.
• Develop product knowledge to assist customers with purchases.
• Collaborate with Outside Sales Reps and Sales Managers on strategic sales approaches.
• Overcome objections and quote prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales order forms/reports.
