Job summary

DAIKIN COMFORT TECHNOLOGIES NORTHEAST, I is seeking a CSR/Inside Sales Representative to drive customer relationships and sales efficiency. You will assist customers face-to-face, by phone, and via email, processing orders accurately and communicating product benefits.

You will collaborate with branch leadership, expand HVAC knowledge, and strive to deliver exceptional service while maintaining records and reporting on sales activities. This role emphasizes teamwork and proactive problem solving.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
• 1–3 years of progressive sales experience.
• Knowledge of HVAC products preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to handle high-volume customer traffic.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accounts by outbound calls to inform on new product launches and discounts.
• Provide excellent customer service via face-to-face, phone and email.
• Process orders, purchase orders, payments, quotes and delivery dates accurately.
• Recommend alternate products based on cost, availability or specs.
• Coordinate shipments with manufacturing, sales, distribution and vendors.
• Generate new and repeat sales with product and technical information.
• Educate customers about product terminology, features and benefits.
• Maintain records and prepare reports on sales activities.
• Expand HVAC product knowledge and stay current with trends.
• Collaborate with Branch Manager to resolve problems and ensure policy adherence.
• Periodically reach out to customers to gauge satisfaction.
