Job summary

Wesco is seeking an Associate Representative - Inside Sales in the United States (Louisiana/Shreveport area) to engage with existing customers by phone and email, increasing sales, and enhancing the customer buying experience. You will collaborate with outside sales to meet goals and may earn commissions in addition to base salary.

Responsibilities include processing orders, upselling, managing quotations, and monitoring open orders to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Preferred knowledge and experience in sales and sales administration; 0–2 years of productive professional contribution.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office and ability to perform basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Obtain orders through email and telephone calls, verify and enter items, transfer orders to fulfillment, explain stock outs and delivery dates.
• Increase orders by suggesting related items, explaining features, and checking customer buying history.
• Own, qualify and develop opportunities passed from marketing, outside sales, and national accounts with guidance.
• Prepare, generate, and follow up on quotations to secure orders or determine reason for loss.
• Review open customer order reports and act on items at risk of missing delivery dates.
