Snow and Jones, Inc. in Norwell, MA is hiring an Inside Sales Associate for our plumbing and HVAC division. You will assist contractors, homeowners, and business customers in selecting products, processing orders, and delivering excellent service at the counter and over the phone.

The ideal candidate has customer service or inside sales experience and a willingness to learn about plumbing, heating, and well-water products. We offer training and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, inside sales, counter sales, retail sales, or wholesale distribution.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with product selection, pricing, quotes, and orders.
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable service to contractors, homeowners, and business customers.
• Recommend products based on customer needs and project requirements.
• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Pull, check, and prepare orders to ensure accuracy.
• Answer product questions and help customers find the right solutions.
• Work with branch management, outside sales representatives, warehouse staff, and manufacturers to meet customer needs.
• Maintain an organized sales counter and a clean, safe work environment.
• Learn about new products, industry trends, and product applications through ongoing training.

Inside Sales Associate – Plumbing & HVAC

Pay: $22–$28 per hour, depending on experience

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

Saturday Schedule: One Saturday per month, 8:00 AM–12:00 PM; no Saturday hours during the summer

What You'll Do

As an Inside Sales Associate, you'll help customers choose the right products, process orders, and provide excellent service at our sales counter and over the phone.

Preferred Qualifications Include

• Previous experience in customer service, inside sales, counter sales, retail sales, or wholesale distribution.
• Knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, heating, construction, building materials, or mechanical products is a plus.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• A positive, professional, and customer-focused attitude.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Dependability, motivation, and a willingness to learn.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
