Job summary

Snow and Jones, Inc. in Norwell, MA is seeking an Inside Sales Associate to support contractors, homeowners, and business customers with plumbing, HVAC, heating, and well water products. You will help customers find the right solutions and process orders with accuracy.

The ideal candidate has prior counter or inside sales experience and a customer-first attitude. You’ll join a family-owned company with a long-standing local presence and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in counter sales, inside sales, plumbing supply, HVAC, construction materials, wholesale, or retail is a plus.
• Mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn.
• Strong customer service skills beneficial in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Help customers in person and over the phone with product selection, pricing, quotes, and orders
• Develop strong customer relationships through knowledgeable, friendly service
• Recommend products and solutions that meet customer needs
• Identify opportunities to increase sales and add value for customers
• Work with Branch Management, Outside Sales, and manufacturer partners to support customer requests
• Pull, verify, and prepare orders accurately and efficiently
• Maintain an organized, well-stocked sales counter and inventory
• Partner with the warehouse and branch team to keep daily operations running smoothly
• Participate in product training to continually expand your industry knowledge
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Norwell, MA $22–$28/hour DOE Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–3:30 PM Only 1 Saturday per Month | 8:00 AM–12:00 PM No Saturday Hours During Summer!

Snow and Jones, Inc. is looking for a motivated Counter Sales Associate to join our Norwell, MA team. You'll work directly with contractors, homeowners, and business customers, helping them find the right plumbing, HVAC, heating, and well & water products for their needs.

Experience in counter sales, inside sales, plumbing supply, HVAC, construction materials, wholesale, or retail is a plus—but we're also interested in mechanically inclined individuals with strong customer service skills who are eager to learn.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• Customer service, counter sales, inside sales, retail, or wholesale experience preferred
• Knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, construction, building materials, or mechanical products is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A positive, customer-first attitude
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable, motivated, and eager to learn
• Comfortable working as part of a team
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed
