N&S Supply is hiring an Inside Sales Associate for our Danbury, CT location. Join our team and be part of a growing company that offers competitive pay, great benefits, and room for advancement.

Responsibilities include assisting the Outside Sales team with quotes and orders, gathering information, providing spec sheets, and generating new and repeat sales. The role also involves assisting customers at the Counter and supporting the team on a part-time basis.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Plumbing, Heating & HVAC products.
• Proficient in basic computer and email skills.
• Attention to Detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist Outside Sales team write up customer quotes and orders.
• Work with the sales team to gather information, appropriate sales resources, and provide job quote bids.
• Provide spec sheets and technical information to customers as required.
• Generate new and repeat sales through leads provided via email and phone.
• Become educated on the Plumbing, Heating & HVAC products the company sells.
• Determine customer requirements for a job and provide recommendations, product availability, pricing, and quotes to the customers.
• Assist customers at the Counter by writing up and shipping/scheduling orders.
• Support the Counter team on a part-time basis, including: writing up and completing walk-in orders, taking orders over the phone, shipping orders, handling payment, and rotating Saturdays.

  • Writing up and completing walk in orders
  • Taking customers orders over the phone
  • Shipping orders that are being picked up
  • Handling payment as required for orders
  • Be a part of the rotating Saturday schedule

Pay Range for this position is $26-32/hour.

About Us

N&S Supply was founded by Louis Nussbickel during the Great Depression as a second-hand retail business, originally called "Lou's New and Used." The business operated out of a small shed in Fishkill, NY. As the business grew, he saw a need for the distribution of plumbing and heating supplies for the upstate New York market. In 1946, the business was incorporated as N&S Supply, which stands for Nussbickel & Sons. The company has continued to grow, now with seven locations throughout the Hudson Valley and southeastern Connecticut. Over the years, N&S also became a full line HVAC distributor as well as adding four luxurious plumbing showrooms operating as "N&S Bath Classics".
