Job summary
NETZSCH Pumps & Systems USA in Exton, PA is seeking a mechanically inclined Inside Sales Application Engineer to prepare proposals based on defined requirements and to enter orders through manufacturing and shipping.
You will focus on customer service, prepare detailed quotes, and coordinate with engineering, operations, and regional sales to support orders and applications. Travel may be required.
Qualifications
- Technical degree or equivalent in a mechanical field.
- 2 years of experience as an application engineer or similar.
- Strong aptitude in hydraulic engineering and problem solving.
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and diagrams.
- Good written and verbal communication with customers and teams.
- Valid driver's license and passport (or ability to obtain).
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed quotations for pumps, parts and systems based on specs.
- Communicate with customers, representatives and direct accounts via phone and email.
- Process orders into the system and support manufacturing teams.
- Support engineering and quality control during testing and repairs.
- Assist regional sales managers with follow-up on quotations.
- Travel with Regional Sales Manager to customer sites and applications.
