Job summary

NETZSCH Pumps USA in Exton, PA seeks a competent, mechanically inclined Inside Sales Application Engineer. You will prepare proposals from defined requirements issued by end-users, engineering firms, contractors, OEMs or distributors, and enter orders to support manufacturing and shipping.

The role focuses on customer service, pump quotations, and collaboration with regional sales. Occasional travel to client sites across regions is required.

Qualifications

• Technical degree with 2 years experience as an application engineer in a similar mechanical field.
• Strong aptitude and/or experience in hydraulic engineering.
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, terms, P&ID safety rules and manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and present to groups of customers or employees.
• Valid driver’s license and passport or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed quotations for pumps, parts, and systems based on specs.
• Communicate by phone and email with customers, reps and OEMs.
• Process orders into the system and support manufacturing and shipping.
• Support QA and production teams during testing and repairs.
• Assist regional sales managers with follow-up on open quotations.
• Travel with the Regional Sales Manager to meet customers.
