Job summary

NETZSCH Pumps USA in Exton, PA is seeking a mechanically inclined Inside Sales Application Engineer to prepare proposals, enter orders, and support the manufacturing and shipping process. You will prepare quotations, communicate with customers and distributors, process orders, and assist engineering and operations teams while traveling periodically to customer sites.

Qualifications

Technical degree with 2 years experience as an application engineer in a mechanical field.
Strong ability to read and interpret technical specifications, safety rules and manuals.
Valid driver’s license and passport or ability to obtain passport on hire.

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed quotations for pumps, parts and systems.
Communicate with customers, representatives and OEMs by phone and email.
Process orders into the system and support engineering and operations during order entry and manufacturing.
Support manufacturing, engineering and quality teams on testing activities and after-sales repairs.
Assist regional sales managers with follow-up on open quotations and travel periodically to customer sites.
