Job description

Job Title: Inside Sales Account Representative

Shift: Monday-Friday: 8:00am- 5:00pm, Central time zone

Pay: $20/hr.

An Inside Sales Account Representative calls, qualifies, and cultivates lead accounts. The individual's efforts will focus on reaching out to unmanaged customers that meet specific criteria for qualification and potentially be managed by a Key Account Manager or a Field Account Manager. The candidate will represent the entire range of company products and services.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  1. Focus on proactive contacts to unmanaged customers to uncover potential opportunities for growth and account management.
  2. Prioritize and schedule sales calls, send personalized emails, and cleanse buyer and shipping information to keep accounts current.
  3. Utilize prepared call guides, probing techniques, and create individualized email templates to qualify and profile prospective and existing sales accounts.
  4. Build new buyers and key decision makers on each account as a KPI to increase the number of potential buyers per account.
  5. Present prepared value propositions to each account and understand their needs to offer product and service-based solutions.
  6. Review and analyze various reports using MS Excel to identify sales potential, trends, and opportunities within a specific customer base.
  7. Respond to customer requests for placing orders, researching products, and high-volume quoting submitted by fax, phone, or email. Follow up on all quotes, samples, or literature requests.
Qualifications, Skills & Abilities:
  1. Prior phone sales experience, preferably in the Industrial Industry.
  2. Proven experience building customer relationships and closing deals.
  3. Honest, assertive, systematic, with excellent customer service qualities.
  4. Understanding of business and sales principles.
  5. Highly energetic and a self-starter.
  6. Comfortable making critical business decisions aligned with growth initiatives.
  7. Proficient in CRM software, MS Office, and typing at least 35 wpm.
  8. Ability to create and maintain strong business relationships at all organizational levels.
  9. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
