Job summary

Richards Building Supply in Winterville, NC is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to be the backbone of customer relationships, providing expert guidance to contractors and industry professionals. Qualifications

• 2–3 years in a customer-facing role, preferably in sales, retail, or distribution.
• Strong computer skills; CRM experience a plus.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Industry knowledge is a plus, but training is provided.
• Spanish-speaking is a strong advantage but not required.
• Willingness to travel overnight up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to customers, helping them find the right products for their projects.
• Handle inbound and outbound customer interactions—whether over the phone or in-person.
• Collaborate with Outside Sales reps to drive sales and resolve customer needs.
• Process orders, track inventory, and coordinate product transfers to meet customer demands.
• Educate customers on promotions, new products, and industry trends to maximize sales opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records, process payments, and ensure seamless order fulfillment.
