Job summary

Richards Building Supply in Fond du Lac, WI, is hiring an Inside Sales Representative. This full-time role supports contractors and professionals by guiding product choices, handling calls, and coordinating orders to meet customer needs.

You’ll work closely with Outside Sales to grow sales, manage records, and assist in fulfillment; travel up to 10% may be required. Spanish is a plus, not required.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in a customer-facing role, preferably in sales, retail, or distribution.
• Strong computer skills with MS Office; CRM experience is a plus.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Spanish-speaking is a plus but not required.
• Willingness to travel overnight up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to customers to find the right products for their projects.
• Handle inbound and outbound interactions—phone or in-person—ensuring every customer feels valued.
• Collaborate with Outside Sales to drive sales and resolve customer needs; process orders, track inventory, and coordinate product transfers.
• Educate customers on promotions, new products, and industry trends to maximize sales opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records, process payments, and ensure seamless order fulfillment.
• Help out in the warehouse as needed.
