Job summary

Clear Destination Inc. in Dallas, TX is seeking a bids and proposals professional to manage takeoffs, item pricing, and bid submissions for distribution projects. You will prepare proposals, submittals, and design layouts for customers and provide daily updates of project bids.

You will coordinate bid activity across HTS TX departments, develop bid strategies, maintain bid status reports, and follow up with customers for feedback. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Takeoffs: quantify items from plans, specs, and bid documents
• Select and price equipment and accessories for bids
• Prepare proposals, submittals, and design layouts for customers
• Provide daily updates of project bids and review addenda
• Coordinate bids between HTS TX departments for multi-department bundles
• Develop bid strategies to improve bid success
• Update bid item status for bid summary reports
• Follow up with customers for job feedback
• Find customer leads and coordinate bid timeframes in CRM
• Set up and attend lunch-and-learn and customer training events
• Maintain high accuracy
• Communicate professionally over the phone with courtesy

Job Duties:

• Job takeoff - quantifying items from plans, specs, and bid documents
• Selection and pricing of equipment and accessories for the purposes of bid
• Preparing proposals, submittals, and design layouts for distribution to customers
• Daily updates of project bids and addendum reviews
• Bid coordination between HTS TX departments for multi-department bid bundles
• Develop bid strategies for jobs to help ensure the success of the bid
• Update bid item status for bid summary reports
• Follow up with customers for job related feedback
• Find customer leads, coordinate bid timeframes, and enter in HTS TX C.R.M. system
• Setup and attend lunch and learn and customer training events
• Maintain a high level of accuracy
• Express a happy tone over the phone and be courteous, helpful, and pleasant to everyone interacted with
