Technical Sales In Construction Industry

Full-time

We are currently seeking an experienced individual to be our next Technical Sales in Construction to join our team in our Stafford, TX 77477 location.

About the Role

As a Technical Sales, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

What you’ll do

• Effectively resolving customer issues
• Ability to multi-task
• Reviewing plans to verify counts, accuracy
• Submitting invoices on a monthly draw schedule
• Arranging and scheduling shipments to job sites
• Ordering of project specific materials through coordination with Purchasing Department
• Compiling of product submittals
• Review of plans
• Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned by management
• Proposals
• Communicating with customers

Our Perfect Candidate

Education and Experience

• High school diploma
• Minimum of 1 year of on-site construction experience
• Ability to interpret plans (shop drawings)
• Knowledge of construction terminology, and various municipal building department regulations to ensure proper and timely permits
• AutoCAD and/or Sketchup skills helpful
• Bilingual in English and Spanish helpful, but not required
