Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Pleasanton, CA is hiring an Inside Account Manager, an early-career sales role for someone curious, organized, and motivated to learn healthcare sales. You will grow a defined book of physician-office accounts through outbound prospecting and retention, in collaboration with field Account Executives and the Commercial Sales Director.

Total earnings range is $85,000 to $100,000 annually, with potential for annual bonuses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, ideally in business, marketing, communications, life sciences, or a related field.
• Zero to three years of professional experience in inside sales or customer-facing roles.
• Prior healthcare, laboratory, medical device, pharmaceutical, or B2B sales experience is a plus, but not required.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office or similar business applications; Salesforce experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a focused sales plan for assigned physician offices, using district priorities and market opportunities.
• Build relationships with physician offices and healthcare customers via phone, video, email, and occasional in-person visits.
• Generate new business through outbound prospecting, inbound leads, referrals, and campaigns with field Account Executives.
• Identify opportunities to expand testing and services within existing accounts by understanding customer needs and utilization.
• Maintain accurate Salesforce records and meet activity and revenue targets.
