Fiero Automation is seeking an Inside Sales Specialist in Colorado. You will be the technical backbone for a regional sales team, helping customers with component selection, custom assemblies, and troubleshooting. You’ll build product expertise and nurture relationships with customers, suppliers, and outside sales engineers.
This role rewards technical curiosity, clear communication, and ownership. It’s not a call center; you’ll own issues and drive outcomes with collaboration across teams.
Salary Range: $60,000.00 To $85,000.00 Annually
If you're technically curious and like the feeling of actually solving a problem, not just answering a question, this might be the role for you.
As an Inside Sales Specialist at Fiero Automation, you're the technical backbone of a regional sales team. Customers call with real engineering challenges: they need help selecting components, designing custom assemblies, or sorting out why something isn't working. You dig in, figure it out, and get them what they need. Over time, you build deep product expertise and real relationships with customers, suppliers, and the outside sales engineers you support.
This isn't a call center role. It rewards people who are sharp, ownership-oriented, and genuinely enjoy becoming the person who knows the answer.
Solve Technical Problems: Customers bring you challenges like component selection, custom assembly design, system troubleshooting. You research, think it through, and find the right solution. You'll also support outside sales engineers with quotes, sourcing, and design documentation for machined and fabricated parts.
Build/Utilize Expertise: Prepare to lean into your technical aptitude and develop an even deeper knowledge of fluid power, pneumatics, and Hartfiel's core product lines. CAD experience is a plus, but we like to build on the foundation you bring.
Own Customer Relationships: You are the internal voice of Hartfiel, so you manage orders, handle returns, track delivery timelines, and field technical questions by phone and email. You're the one who helps when needed, and customers remember that.
Work as a Team: Partner with outside sales, facilitate weekly pipeline meetings, coordinate with suppliers, and occasionally visit customers onsite.
