Your role in a Nutshell
As an Inside Account Manager at Aptum, you'll be responsible for maintaining and growing a high-volume portfolio of existing customers.
Your primary focus? Driving renewals, spotting upsell opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction — all from behind your desk (or screen), with efficiency and precision.
You’ll work closely with internal teams to support your customers' day-to-day needs, identify quick-win revenue opportunities, and ensure our solutions continue to meet their evolving business goals.
What You’ll Be Doing
Renewal Management: Own the renewal process from outreach to close — ensuring timely follow-ups, accurate quoting, and seamless execution.
Upsell & Cross-Sell: Proactively identify and pitch relevant add-ons or service upgrades to help customers get more value from Aptum.
Customer Engagement: Conduct regular check-ins, respond to inquiries, and resolve issues quickly with support from internal teams.
Solution Matching (Light-Touch Sales): Use your understanding of the customer’s environment to suggest simple product fits or direct them to specialized teams for deeper needs.
CRM Discipline: Keep Salesforce and other tools up to date — log interactions, track pipeline activity, and flag churn risks.
Internal Collaboration: Work with Delivery, Sales Engineers, and Billing to ensure smooth customer experiences and quick turnaround times.
Campaign Execution: Support marketing or sales campaigns by following up on leads or reactivating dormant accounts within your book.
