Job summary

Qualifications

• Quality Control skills with attention to detail for verifying accuracy of printed and inserted documents and meeting production standards.
• Effective Communication skills to work with team members, follow written instructions, and report issues clearly and promptly.
• Basic understanding of Printing workflows and equipment used in a high-volume print and mail operation.

Role Description

The Inserter Operator is a full-time, on-site role based in Piscataway, NJ, responsible for operating and maintaining mail inserting and related print production equipment. Day-to-day tasks include setting up and running inserter machines, loading materials, monitoring production runs, and performing basic equipment troubleshooting to minimize downtime. The role also involves inspecting output for accuracy, ensuring quality standards are met, and following established job tickets and work instructions. The Inserter Operator collaborates with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules, maintains a clean and safe work area, and adheres to all safety and security procedures related to handling customer documents.
