Job summary

Artemis Consultants is seeking an experienced Mail Processing Inserter Operator responsible for set-up, operation, training and maintenance of Inserter and inkjet machines. Strong focus on safety, accuracy and teamwork to ensure continuous mail flow.

The ideal candidate will have a HS diploma or GED, extensive knowledge of mail processing equipment, and solid computer and communication skills to interface with equipment, staff and customers.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED or 3 years related experience or equivalent
• Experience with mail processing equipment including start-up, setup, operation, training, adjustment and understanding mailing requirements
• Knowledge of mailing regulations and safety protocols
• Computer skills sufficient to interface with mail equipment and files
• Strong verbal and written communication to follow instructions, SOPs and safety rules
• Attention to detail and careful review of work before signing off
• Ability to identify problems and notify appropriate personnel promptly
• Strong interpersonal skills to work with others
• Strong mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and restore machine operation
• Ability to lead and work in a team environment and share expertise

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Mail Processing -Inserter Machine Operator. The Mail Inserter Operator is responsible for the set-up, operation, training and maintenance of all Mail processing Inserter and inkjet machines.

PREFERRED PROFILE

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 3 years minimum related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High level of experience with mail processing equipment including how to start, setup, operate, train, adjust and understand mailing requirements, have knowledge of mailing regulations and safety protocols- including safe use of equipment and chemicals.
• Computer skills are sufficient to interface with various mail equipment and files.
• Strong Verbal and written communications to follow job instructions, SOP’s and safety rules; effectively communicate with KP mail team members, employees and customers.
• Reviews all work carefully for completeness and accuracy before signing off and passing through; pays close attention to details.
• Identifies problems and notifies appropriate personnel and manager in a timely manner.
• Strong Interpersonal skills to get along and work effectively with others.
• Strong mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot machine issues and take appropriate actions to get machine back online.
• Ability to lead and work in a team environment; helps and supports all employees; shares expertise with others.
