Job summary

Novastar Kids Co. is seeking an experienced Infant Lead Teacher who is INS qualified and currently meets Colorado INS requirements. The role focuses on high-quality infant care, developmental support, and leading classroom operations in a licensed early childhood program.

You will work under the School Director, ensure licensing compliance, partner with families, and supervise an assistant teacher. This is a full-time, on-site position with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Applicants must meet ALL of the following requirements.
• INS qualification required with current Colorado credentials.
• PDIS Level II or higher credential required for eligibility.
• Infant/toddler training and documented INS experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification required before duties begin.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, nurturing infant care and developmentally appropriate activities.
• Lead classroom operations and supervise assistants.
• Maintain accurate attendance, feeding, diapering, and development records.
• Ensure compliance with CDEC licensing and health/safety policies.
• Communicate with families and collaborate with School Director.
