Primrose School of Lafayette in Colorado is seeking an Infant Lead Teacher who is passionate about infants and toddlers. You will join a caring teaching team, support a developmentally appropriate curriculum, and contribute to a safe, nurturing classroom.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, being at least 18, meeting Colorado state infant lead teacher requirements, and a CDA or degree in Early Childhood.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must meet state infant lead teacher requirements.
• CDA or college degree in Early Childhood, Child Development or related.
• Lead Teacher qualifications (Colorado Shines PDIS Level 2+) preferred; advancement opportunities available.

Responsibilities

• Support a positive learning environment for infants and toddlers as part of the teaching team.
• Document and share with parents the important milestones in a child’s day.
• Collaborate with other preschool teachers and leaders to implement developmentally appropriate curriculum.
• Respect and observe children's interests; intervene to maintain safety and enhance play.
• Model social behavior and expectations; assist in planning a balanced daily schedule.
