Job summary

Child Development Schools, Inc. is seeking a Lead Teacher to create a warm, exploratory classroom for infants. You will guide children through discovery, storytelling, and hands-on activities that foster curiosity, confidence, kindness, and growth every day.

You will partner with families, observe development, document progress, and maintain safety, organization, and licensing compliance while collaborating with a caring teaching team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Completion of 12 hours of childcare training within 30 days of hire.
• Degree or coursework in Early Childhood Education is a plus, but not required. We hire for character and train for skill.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons for the Infant Classroom.
• Observe and document each child's development and share progress with families.
• Build relationships with parents through daily communication and conferences.
• Keep the classroom safe, organized, and compliant with licensing and ratio requirements.
• Complete required documentation including attendance, incident reports, and assessments.
