Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking a registered nurse for Wound/Ostomy Services IP at Deer Valley Medical Center, day shift. The RN will provide wound care within an inpatient setting, manage care plans, and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, medication administration, and patient education on post-treatment and home care needs. Certification in wound/ostomy is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience in an inpatient wound setting is REQUIRED.
• Wound/ostomy/continence certification is PREFERRED.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessment, documentation, and care planning.
• Administer medications and IV therapies with proper safety checks.
• Educate patients and families on wound care, home management and follow-up.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
