Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health seeks a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care within a multidisciplinary team. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs, coordinating with physicians and support services for safe, high-quality outcomes.

Requires RN license, BLS/CPR, 6+ months of nursing experience or Nurse Residency participation, and ongoing education to meet accreditation standards. Starting minimum rate reflects New Jersey pay transparency rules.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing or diploma required.
• BSN in progress or within 3 years of hire.
• Current valid RN license at the assigned location; BLS/CPR required within 60 days.
• 6+ months nursing experience or Nurse Residency program participation.
• National certification preferred when eligible.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care per evidence-based policies and standards.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team and plan of care.
• Document assessments, plans, interventions, and outcomes.
• Administer medications with bar-scanning and safe practices.
• Discharge planning and patient/family education.
• Uphold ANA code of ethics and facility standards.
