Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in a collaborative interprofessional team. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, coordinating with physicians and support services to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

The role requires NJ RN licensure, BLS/CPR certification within 60 days of hire, and at least 6 months of nursing experience or new-grad residency participation. Telemetry certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• New Jersey nursing license required.
• BLS/CPR certification required within 60 days of hire.
• BSN in progress or willingness to pursue within 3 years of hire.
• At least 6 months nursing experience or active participation in our new grad nurse residency program.
• Telemetry certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care per evidence-based policies and standards.
• Perform comprehensive data collection and patient assessment.
• Develop and coordinate plans of care with patient/family involvement.
• Communicate and implement the plan of care with the care team.
• Provide patient and family education and ensure understanding.
• Maintain documentation and participate in discharge planning.
