Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health seeks a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care within a multidisciplinary team in New Jersey. The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, care coordination, and education for patients and families.

The ideal candidate holds a current NJ nursing license, has or is pursuing a BSN, and demonstrates clinical competence with a focus on safety, teamwork, and continuous learning in a dynamic hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Valid NJ nursing license required.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• 6 months nursing experience or RN Residency participation.
• BSN in progress or willing to obtain within 3 years of hire.
• Telemetry experience preferred.
• Telemetry certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of nursing practices according to evidence-based research, policies, and standards of care.
• Ongoing communication with patients, families, and health-care team regarding status and plan of care.
• Medication administration with bar-scanning and documentation technologies.
• Ongoing Point-of-Care documentation of assessments, plans, interventions, and evaluations.
• Patient and family education to promote health and disease management.
• Coordination of discharge planning to ensure safe transition and continuity of care.
