Qualifications

• Minimum of one of the following: related coursework beyond high school, healthcare environment experience, or experience with complex administrative tasks.
• Preferred inpatient staffing and scheduling experience and CNA or direct patient care exposure.
• Experience coordinating staff schedules, call-outs, and orientation with scheduling systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and maintain staff schedules and daily assignments for the assigned area.
• Manage staff call-outs and work with leadership to identify appropriate coverage.
• Coordinate orientation schedules and ensure new team members receive training and department orientation.
• Adjust staffing based on census, workload, acuity, and department needs.
• Serve as a primary resource for staffing and scheduling systems.
• Track staffing trends and maintain scheduling records and reports.
• Support training and maintenance of department systems and processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve staffing efficiency and continuity.
• Provide professional support to leadership and staff to keep daily operations running smoothly.
