Phoenix Specialty Hospital is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive services in an acute care setting in Mesa, AZ. Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology (CAA-accredited).
• Current Arizona SLP license (or eligibility).
• CCC-SLP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients using standardized and non-standardized assessments and develops individualized treatment plans.
• Provides speech-language pathology services to improve communication, cognition, voice, and swallowing.
• Performs MBSS and FEES as trained and competency-validated.
• Supervises SLPAs and support staff as allowed by regulations.
• Documents patient progress and maintains accurate medical records.
• Participates in interdisciplinary care planning and discharge planning.
• Educates patients and families on communication strategies and home programs.
