UofL Health is seeking a licensed therapist to evaluate and treat patients at University Hospital - UMC. The role involves developing and implementing treatment plans, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring accurate documentation and discharge planning.

The schedule is Tuesday, Wednesday and Fridays 8am-5pm, with responsibilities including patient evaluation, plan development, and coordination of care to maximize functional outcomes under department policies.

Qualificações

• Education: BS, MS or Doctorate degree from an accredited college or university.
• Licensure: Licensed or eligible in the Commonwealth of Kentucky or State of Indiana, as appropriate to the facility.
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Experience: Varies based on practice setting and programmatic needs (required).

Responsabilidades

• Evaluates and implements therapy treatment with regular reassessments to maximize functional independence.
• Communicates patient status and treatment goals to physicians and therapy customers.
• Maintains effective relationships with patients, families, internal and external customers.
• Oversees rehab technicians and assistants consistent with practice acts and policies.
