Job summary

UofL Health is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to evaluate patients, develop and implement treatment plans, and coordinate discharge planning within a multidisciplinary team at University Hospital in Louisville, KY.

Qualifications

Requires a BS/MS or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
Licensed or eligible to practice in Kentucky or Indiana as appropriate.
BLS certification by the American Heart Association is required.

Responsibilities

Evaluates and implements competent therapy treatment and provides regular re-assessments.
Communicates patient status and treatment plan to physicians and therapy customers.
Oversees rehab technicians, therapy assistants, and students within scope of practice.
Ensures patient charges and clinical documentation comply with regulatory standards.
Participates in program development and performance improvement activities.
Maintains self‑monitoring of workflow to ensure productivity and regulatory compliance.
