UofL Health is seeking a licensed therapist to evaluate and treat patients across hospital settings, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans. The role emphasizes collaboration with physicians, therapists, and support staff to achieve functional outcomes.

The position requires a BS, MS, or Doctorate degree, Kentucky or Indiana licensure eligibility, and AHA BLS certification. You will participate in program development and ensure regulatory compliance within the department.

Qualifications

• BS, MS or Doctorate level degree from accredited college or University (required)
• Varies based on practice setting and programmatic needs of the facility (required)
• Licensed or eligible in the Commonwealth of Kentucky or State of Indiana, as appropriate to the facility (required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) (required)

Responsabilités

• Evaluates and implements therapy treatment; provides regular reassessments.
• Communicates patient status to physicians and therapy customers.
• Maintains effective relations with patients, families, staff, and external customers.
• Considers cost implications and provides cost-effective treatment.
• Ensures that patient charges and documentation comply with regulatory standards.
• Oversees rehab technicians, therapy assistants, and students as appropriate.
• Monitors workflow to ensure productivity and regulatory compliance.
• Participates in program development and performance improvement activities.
• Responds to feedback professionally and demonstrates problem-solving skills.
