Job summary

UofL Health is seeking an Inpatient Speech-Language Pathologist (Part-time/PRN) for University Hospital in Louisville, KY. The role focuses on evaluation, treatment planning, and discharge planning for inpatients.

The successful candidate will evaluate patients, implement treatment plans, and communicate progress to the care team, while supervising rehab staff as needed and contributing to program improvement.

Qualifications

• Licensed or eligible in Kentucky.
• Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university.
• Master’s or Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) by American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Deliver therapy services and conduct discharge planning.
• Communicate patient status to physicians and therapy customers.
• Supervise rehab technicians and students where applicable.
• Monitor productivity and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Participate in program development and performance improvement.
