Responsibilities

• Provides Kronos scheduler end-user assistance.
• Facilitates Carle Health employee redeployment efforts.
• Coordinates inpatient daily staffing through forecasting, daily review and reporting, tracking and entering schedule updates, and extra shift initiatives.
• Provides support for timekeeper functions.
• Creates and maintains hospital inpatient and clinical support services staff schedules according to departmental and housewide standards, to facilitate productivity, stewardship, and efficiency.
• Reviews future departmental schedules to manage schedule change requests in such a way that preserves the balanced schedule.
• Coordinates the effort to fill open shifts based on forecasted need.
• Provides accurate data entry, information retrieval, and reporting.
• Assists in serving as a resource to staff, unit leaders, and house officers on policies, procedures, and office activites, as well as on the scheduling system.
• Answers telephone, and takes and delivers messages according to department communication standards.
• Provides administrative, secretarial, and clerical support for department.
