Geisinger is seeking a part-time Inpatient Registered Nurse. The role offers a $41.50 minimum hiring rate with higher rates for experienced candidates and up to $7 per hour in shift differentials for evening, night, and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing (Required).
• Assesses plans, organizes, performs, and evaluates nursing activities to meet patient needs.
• Promotes safety and patient/family satisfaction through compassionate care.
• Coordinates patient care with staff and interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care including treatments, medications, and diagnostic studies.
• Address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patient and family.
• Formulates, coordinates, and implements plan of care with education and discharge planning.
• Initiates collaboration with physicians and other team members to resolve patient needs.
• Participates in unit-based decision-making and quality/safety activities.
