Job summary

Northwestern Medicine CDH Medical Care Center 4B in Winfield, IL is seeking a Staff Nurse Inpatient for full-time night shifts (7pm–7:30am) with rotating weekends, on a 24-bed unit serving adult general medical and medical oncology patients. The role requires currently licensed Illinois RN, BSN preferred; ADN acceptable with commitment to obtain a BSN within three years.

You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, collaborate with families and the health team, and help advance

Qualifications

• BSN required; Illinois RN licensure active or compact license
• ADN acceptable with commitment to obtain BSN within three years of employment
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
• Analytic abilities to evaluate patient responses and plan care

Responsibilities

• Collects and analyzes data to develop and implement an individualized care plan.
• Directs care and utilizes appropriate nursing staff to deliver direct patient care.
• Collaborates with patients, families, physicians and staff to coordinate care.
• Participates in governance activities and unit projects.
• Documents patient responses and outcomes in the health record.
