Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Part-time Night Shift RN for the CDH Medical Oncology (4A) unit in Winfield, IL. The 26-bed unit specializes in inpatient chemotherapy, symptom management, and palliative/hospice care for adults 18+.

Rotating weekends and 7:00 pm–7:30 am shifts with a focus on collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Required BSN, IL RN license, and BLS; ADN with commitment to BSN within 3 years is acceptable.

Qualifications

• BSN required and IL RN license.
• BLS certification required.
• Strong interpersonal skills essential.

• Analytic abilities to evaluate patient data.

Responsibilities

• Collects and analyzes data to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Directs care and utilizes nursing staff appropriately.
• Collaborates with patient, family, physicians and staff to document plans and communicate decisions.
• Participates in governance, committees, and unit projects.
• Evaluates patient responses to interventions and documents outcomes.
• Uses evidence and research to guide practice decisions.
