Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Registered Nurse with inpatient experience to join our inpatient care teams. You will deliver direct nursing care, perform initial assessments, and develop and execute care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.

The role requires an active RN license, ACLS within 1 year, and BLS within 30 days. Expect to float across Medical-Surgical, Oncology, Orthopedic and ICU units as needed and participate in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Requires active RN license in Illinois or eligible for Illinois licensure
• ACLS within 1 year and BLS within 30 days of start
• Must have 2 years of inpatient RN experience

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in inpatient units
• Document nursing assessments, plans, and interventions clearly
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care
• Mentor junior staff and precept as needed
• Float to multiple inpatient units as needed
