Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for inpatient bedside care in Illinois. The role requires 2 years of RN inpatient experience and an active Illinois RN license (IDFPR), with ACLS within 1 year and BLS within 30 days.

You will perform nursing assessments, develop and implement plans of care, document care accurately, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes across units including Medical-Surgical, Oncology and ICUs as needed.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Illinois (IDFPR)
• ACLS within 1 year required
• BLS within 30 days required
• 2 years RN inpatient experience

Responsibilities

• Performs all responsibilities and duties required by unit as specific to the scope of service.
• Implements procedures and theories related to the specific area of practice.
• Maintains up-to-date documentation of nursing care to support the healthcare team.
• Completes initial assessment on admission and develops an appropriate plan of care.
• Implements plan of care, nursing interventions, and patient care procedures.
• Modifies plan of care to ensure patient and staff safety.
• Communicates with others to resolve issues.
• Precepts staff and coordinates care with multidisciplinary teams.
• Identifies learning needs and pursues solutions.
• Fulfills departmental competencies.
• Floats to various inpatient units as needed.
• Conducts and documents nursing assessments, diagnoses, plans, and evaluations.
• Coordinates care with multidiscipline team to deliver high-quality care.
