Qualifications

• Active RN license in IL per IDFPR.
• ACLS within 1 year (AHA).
• BLS within 30 days (AHA).
• Minimum 2 years of inpatient RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs all responsibilities and duties required by unit as specific to the scope of service.
• Implements procedures and theories related to the specific area of practice.
• Maintains up-to-date documentation of nursing care for the healthcare team.
• Completes initial patient assessment and develops care plan.
• Implements and evaluates the plan of care and nursing interventions.
• Modifies plan of care to ensure patient and staff safety.
• Communicates with team to resolve issues and provide feedback.
• Precepts staff and coordinates care with multidisciplinary teams.
