Carle Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for inpatient care, requiring 2+ years of RN inpatient experience. The role includes patient assessment, care planning, and collaboration with the healthcare team across units. ACLS and BLS certifications are required within specified timeframes.

The team emphasizes documentation accuracy, safety, and professional development, with opportunities to float to Medical-Surgical, Oncology, Orthopedic, and ICU units as needed.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing with appropriate state board.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification within 1 year of hire (AHA).
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification within 30 days of hire (AHA).
• Education: Associate’s Degree or higher; HS Diploma/GED.

Responsibilities

• Performs all responsibilities and duties required by the unit as specific to the scope of service.
• Implements procedures and theories related to the specific area of practice.
• Maintains up-to-date and accurate nursing documentation for the healthcare team.
• Completes initial patient assessment and develops a plan of care based on patient and family needs.
• Implements plan of care and nursing interventions.
• Modifies plan of care to ensure patient and staff safety; reports hazards.
