Job summary

UW Health SwedishAmerican Hospital in Illinois is seeking a registered nurse for evening/night shifts (3 twelve-hour shifts, 3pm–3am) with every-other-weekend rotation. A $10,000 sign-on bonus may be available, plus shift differentials and on-call compensation. 90% FTE, full-time in the Emergency Department.

Qualifications include an accredited nursing program graduate, an ADN, and Illinois RN licensure. BLS is required; ED RNs must obtain ACLS, PALS, ENPC, ECRN, TNCC within the first year.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Required.
• Associate's degree in nursing. Required.
• Current RN licensure to practice in the State of Illinois. Required.
• Basic Life Support/CPR Certification. Required.
• Emergency Department RN must obtain BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, ECRN and TNCC within the first year of employment. Required.

Responsibilities

• Evening/night shift: 3 twelve-hour shifts (3pm–3am) 90% FTE, every other weekend with rotating holidays at UW Health SwedishAmerican Hospital.
• Provide patient care in the Emergency Department as part of the nursing team.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and adherence to unit protocols.

Work Schedule
