Job summary

UW Health Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL is hiring an experienced registered nurse to join our team. This 100% FTE role offers 8-hour shifts with variable start times, and schedules spanning early mornings to evenings with potential weekend hours.

Applicants must be a graduate from an accredited nursing program, hold IL RN licensure, and have BLS; a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000 is available for eligible candidates.

• Current RN licensure to practice in Illinois.
• Basic Life Support/CPR Certification.

Work Schedule

100% FTE, Monday through Friday, 8 hr shifts with variable start times. Department hours of 5:00am-8:00pm or until the last patient is discharged. You will work at UW Health Swedish American Hospital 1401 E State St. You may be eligible for up to a $15,000 sign on bonus.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program. Required
• Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained. Required

Work Experience

• 911 Call Center Triage Only - 2 years experience in an Emergency Room setting or Psychiatric Nursing setting. Required
• 911 Call Center Triage Only - Community nursing experience. Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

• Current RN licensure to practice in the State of Illinois. Required
• Basic Life Support/CPR Certification. Required
• Specialty certification in area of concentration. Preferred
• 9th Floor Only: ACLS certification within two years of hire. Preferred
• Must possess a current, valid driver's license issued by the individual's state of residence. Upon Hire Required
